History

Industria Carbonifera de Samacá «INCARSA S.A» was created in the year 2000, with the main purpose of performing the different activities related with the exploitation of metallurgical coal and its processing in the different washing and coke production plants.

Its operation is currently focused in the departments of Boyacá and Cundinamarca, a Colombian hub in the production of coal and metallurgical coke.

We are leading company in industrial safety and health at work. We focus our efforts on preventing operational risks and with this, the losses of productivity in the processes.

The preservation of the environment is the foundation of our corporate activity. This leads to a strict compliance with the regulations issued by the environmental authority, which is a framework for our mining exploitation and metallurgical coke production processes, which are supported in prevention, reforestation, water treatment, air and water spring care programs, among others.
